I'm an entry-level designer with a primary interest in web design. My objectives as of now are to further hone my skills, and learn the ins and outs of designing in the real world. I bring with me an innate attentiveness to detail along with numerous other crucial abilities for the field.
For this assignment we were required to make modifications to a webpage we'd created previously. Specifically, we were tasked with adding an image gallery containing at least 4 images.
By doing this assignment, I learned how to effectively incorporate an image gallery into an existing webpage. I also learned how to manipulate my searches online to find images of a specific size.
For this assignment we were required to make 4 different forms. There were reference photos provided for each of these forms, which we were supposed to mimick.
By doing this assignment, I learned how to make forms and the different elements within them. Additionally, I got to further educate myself on input types.
For this assignment we were required to create a page about our favorite band/musician. We had to have 2 paragraphs of content, 1 image, a form, and at least 3 style rules.
By doing this assignment, I learned how to use CSS to style forms. More specifically, I learned how to correctly write the CSS selectors in order to affect different parts of forms.
For this assignment we were tasked with creating a sample application based on a database of our choosing. There were several structure files and 3 types of pages we were required to include. In my case, I made a database management application for a fictional blindbox store chain.
By doing this assignment, I learned how to create a functioning application using PHP. This in turn meant that I had to effectively use PHP, HTML/CSS, and SQL together. I also learned some more cPanel management tasks.
